::: Cup and Ring Rock Art, Landscape Circles, and Atlantis
The British Isle are home to numerous circular rock art symbols that seem very similar to the circular features found in America. Amazing how many of these sites seem to contain circular 'cups' with outer rings connected by lines. The thumbnail image shows a linear collection of circular features (notice the line of circles near the bottom of the image) at a site called Ballochmyle near Scotland. Reminds me so much of those linear features off the coast of Scotland and seems like an incredible coincidence or intentional design. Another interesting bit of research, it turns out the cup and ring style of rock art has also been found in America: Alabama, California, Georgia, Hawaii, Texas.
Perhaps these circular features on the rocks are actually ancient maps. The circles remind me of Plato's description of Atlantis:"There were two rings of land and three of sea, like cartwheels, with the island at their centre and equidistant from each other... in the centre was a shrine sacred to Poseidon and Cleito, surrounded by a golden wall through which entry was fobidden..."
